Now Seeking Retail Partners
Sauble River Farms is a fifth-generation family farm, established in 1876, located on Salem Road along the beautiful Sauble River in Allenford, Ontario. Sauble River Farms specializes in 100% pure maple syrup and maple products, carefully crafted each spring in our sugar shack.
Sauble River Farms is currently looking to partner with new retailers throughout Grey and Bruce counties. If you are a local shop, market, café, or specialty store interested in carrying high quality, locally produced 100% pure maple syrup, we would love to connect. Our products are proudly made on our family farm and packaged with care. A true taste of Bruce County.
You can find Sauble River Farms at the Owen Sound Farmers’ Market on Saturdays in the spring, as soon as we have fresh syrup. Our first date is weather dependent. We’re there from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Stop by to sample our maple syrup, chat with the family, and take home a bottle of this season’s liquid gold. We love meeting our customers and sharing a little piece of our farm with you.

Pure maple syrup is more than just a topping for pancakes. It’s a natural sweetener that can replace refined white sugar in many recipes. Maple syrup contains naturally occurring minerals like manganese and zinc and is less processed than traditional table sugar. Try using it in baking, marinades, salad dressings, coffee, or anywhere you would normally add sugar.
You can even make your own simple sports drink by mixing water, a pinch of sea salt, and pure maple syrup for a natural source of carbohydrates and electrolytes. It’s a wholesome way to fuel long days outdoors, workouts, or time spent in the maple bush.
Sauble River Farms has been cared for by five generations of our family along Salem Road and the Sauble River. What began as a small family operation has grown through decades of hard work, early mornings, and a deep respect for the land. Each spring, we carry on the tradition of tapping the maple bush and boiling sap in our sugar shack, just as those before us did. Today, Bob and Donna Lesperance and family continue that legacy, proudly producing 100% pure maple syrup for our community and beyond.
